And you reciprocated for my delight

Days were rainbows, Written with vows

Spring coloured my life shiny and bright.

Letting myself go wasn't easy

I flew with your thoughts so breezy

Spellbound by the Thames, I made new aims

With you, even the clichés didn't seem cheesy.

I still remember that night so starry

I was drunk on life, don't blame the sherry

In your arms, with your charms

It felt so right like a happy love story.

Like all good things, it didn't last

My heart will forever be in your cast

A promise I make, an oath you take

Of a coinciding forever we'll brew from the past. 

I know the distance isn't really just

But my love is more than wanderlust

I long to be back by your side, to be your bride

Hold me tight if you must.

Layer by layer I slowly unfold

The thoughts, our hearts hold

Feelings scintillating, memories oscillating

Transforming tears into icicles, cold.

I daydream just to be with you

But it doesn't last - makes me blue

It was a love affair, at Trafalgar Square

Makes my eyes fill with dew.

Dreams don't suffice the desire

The hope is constant, I  admire

Another day Another way

To be with you oh London, I aspire.
